My broad area of specialization is Aerospace Propulsion. I have research interests in the following areas: • Design and performance augmentation strategies for turbomachines. • Aerothermodynamics of turbomachines. • Experimental and Computational (CFD) study of turbomachines. • Contra rotating axial flow turbomachines aerodynamics. • Experimental and Computational Fluid mechanic and Heat transfer. • Experimental aerodynamics. I am involved in establishing/ setting up the Turbomachinery Research facilities at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kharagpur.
